Zac Sunderland is a brave 17 year old boy that sailed alone around the world in 13 months.
Zac Sunderland completed his journey aboard his 36ft yacht called the Intrepid. At 17 years old he is now the youngest person to sail around the world. Previously the record was held by Jesse Martin who made the same journey in 1999 when he was 18 years old.
Family and friends that welcomed Zac Sunderland back home said that he “left as a boy and came back a man.” Congrats to Zac Sunderland!
