Robert McNamara died at 93 years old in his home in Northwest Washington, the cause of his death is unknown.

Robert McNamara is remembered secretary of defense during the Vietnam war, also known as The Architect of the Vietnam War, during the Presidency of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson. However during the end of his life he changed and focused on helping poor people around the world.
