DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. The DASH diet plan is made up of high in vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, low-fat dairy, and whole grains, and low in red and processed meat, salt, and sweetened beverages. It essentially is a healthy eating pattern.
