A US radio station has reported that Saad Bin Laden the son of Osama Bin Laden was killed in an airstrike earlier this year in Pakistan . US officials said that he was hit by a missile fired by a drone aircraft. Although Saad was not particularly targetted , he was as officials said “at the wrong place at the wrong time” . Saad was under house arrest in Iran and had returned to Pakistan last year. Although Saad was active in the al Qaeda he was not a major player. Saad Bin Laden was 28 yrs old and the the third son of Bin Laden.
