La Cañada Flintridge Big Rig Crash -Today La Cañada Flintridge Bookstore and Coffee house saw a big rig crash into the store at 5 PM.
The accident has left 2 people dead, 12 injured and 3 in critical condition. The big rig crashed also into a shopping complex, cars, stores and residents. The scene after the crash is terrible and has left the store in unstable conditions.
Mayor Laura Olhasso issued the following statement late tonight:
“We are outraged that our numerous demands to Caltrans to immediately address the significant safety issues of out of control trucks on Angeles Crest Highway were ignored”.
