Today a lot of people after updating AVG seems to be getting warnings that itunes is infected by a virus called trojan horse small.bog . In fact AVG finds more than 170 viruses in iTunes. AVG pops out messages saying that iTunes.dll and iTunesRegistry.dll are infected with Trojan horse Small.BOG. A lot of people have even unistalled iTunes and lost their music collection because of the scare. However, it is confirmed that there is no virus in iTunes and AVG seems to have bungled up. iTunes does not contain any trojans or harmful files. You can add iTunes to the list of exceptions in AVG to get rid of the virus alert. You can see some solutions here . It is also reported that AVG has now released a fix so just updating AVG should fix the error. Just remeber that the small.bog iTunes virus does not exist and you do not have to take any drastic steps like uninstalling or deleting files
