Lughnasadh is the Celtic harvest festival on August 1st
The name Lughnasadh has been taken from the Irish god Lugh,& Laa Luanys from the Isle of Man.
Lughnasadh also has an older name, Brón Trogain, which is the natural painful labor of childbirth.
As during this time Aug. 1st , the earth gives birth which is the harvest so that her children (people) might survive.
In short Lughnasadh is a festival of harvest
