This year’s show is to be hosted by Fabio Vivani from the “Top Chef” Series . The annual festival will be held at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy. The garlic festival besides showcasing all things garlic will also host a “Garlic Cook Off” contest with 8 contestants who will prepare some of the most delicious-sounding garlic recipes . Joey Chestnut gobbled down 68 hot dogs making him the winner of the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.
The contest took place at Coney Island and as soon as Joey was declared the winner he kept on swallowing what was left in his mouth while holding his hand up in victory.
Joey’s rival, Kobayashi almost caught up while Patrick Bertoletti took third place. Congrats to Joey Chestnut!
