Bernard Madoff was transferred to the Butner Federal Correctional Complex in North Carolina on Monday.
Madoff, 71 years old, will spend his 150 year sentence in the Butner Prison. Basically, Madoff’s new home for the rest of his life is now the Butner Federal Correctional Complex.
For those just tuning in on this case, Bernard Madoff pleaded guilty to fraud charges and admitted to running a multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme took money from thousands of investors and charities as well. That’s the news on the Butner Federal Correctional Complex.
