Update on Atlanta Tornado and Video

• At least 20 homes destroyed by Atlanta tornado
• Apartment building collapses
• Search for survivors within debris could take days
• About 15 people injured in Atlanta hotel evacuation

These are some of the highlights so far on the devastating Atlanta tornado that hit the city on Friday.

CNN headquarters are a mess with blown out windows along with the Ritz Carlton hotel and Omni hotel. Guests are being relocated. Georgia State University has extensive damage. And hundreds of people have suffered severe damages to their homes.

At least two people were dead in the Rockmart area and one person critically injured when a tornado touched down early this afternoon, said Amber Frady of Polk County EMS.

Numbers are still sketchy, but the tornado has made critical damage and we’ll definitely be seeing ways to send help or donations to the area soon. That’s the news for now on the Atlanta Tornado.
