Former Lightweight Boxing Champion Alexis Arguello was found dead in his home this morning.
At 57 years of age, Arguello had a record of 82-8, with 65 knockouts. He was recently elected as mayor of Managua, Nicaragua. and according to La Prensa (local newspaper) Alexis Arguello was found dead with a gunshot wound in his chest.
Alexis Arguello was inducted in the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1992, he was also known as “El Flaco Explosivo” which means “The Explosive Thin Man”. Our condolences go out to his family and friends, that’s the news on Alexis Arguello Found Dead.
