San Jose Earthquake USGS - Here’s the USGS data on the Earthquakes that startled San Jose today. The San Jose Earthquake shook Salinas Valley and also downtown San Jose.

First Earthquake was on Sunday - 3.5 Earthquake recorded recorded 10 miles north of downtown San Jose on Sunday at 7:47 AM.

Second Earthquake on Monday -3.5 magnitude 17 miles northeast of King City at 3 am Monday.

Third Earthquake on Monday - before noon: 4.3 magnitude

USGS has issued the following statement:

At 10:40 AM Pacific Daylight Time on March 30, an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 4.5 occurred 45 miles/72 Km northeast of Monterey, California. The magnitude and location are such that a tsunami WILL NOT be generated. This will be the only WCATWC message issued for this event. The location and magnitude are based on preliminary information. Further information will be issued by the United States Geological Survey or the appropriate regional seismic network.
